Viva Las Vegas!

Three Guidelines for Planning the Perfect Las Vegas Bachelorette Party:

1. Location, Location, Location!

It's true what they say! Book a room at the Mandalay Bay (1) and spend the day on the hotel's famous beach, on a tube floating down the lazy river or by one of the many pools. We would take it a step further and book a cabana for the day! The Mandalay Bay also has much to offer in the way of nightlife. After a day of relaxing in the sun get your crew together and head to rumjungle (2) for dinner. The restaurant/club offers over 225 types of rum, an extensive list of cocktails and fare such as carribean curried jumbalaya and blue corn fried calamari.

~OR~

Do it up Italian style (without the jetlag) and stay at The Venetian (3). Stroll through the Grand Canal Shoppes or hop aboard an authentic Venetian gondola for a ride down the Grand Canal (the river winding it's way through the hotel), itself. After dinner, head to hotspot Tao (4) We discovered that they offer special Bachelorette Party planning services...

2. Go All Out When You Go Out

FIX at the Bellagio (5) offers 'a contemporary twist on classic American dining'. Enjoy the avante garde interior while you indulge in lobster tacos followed by warm donuts for dessert. The cocktail menu is also inspiring - we can't wait to try a Passion Fruit Mojito (Montecristo Rum, Muddled Lime, Spearmint, Passion Fruit, Watermelon) or the Cucumber Essence Fix (Stoli Elit Vodka, Cucumber Essence, Fresh Lime)!

ghostbar (6) at the Palms is another hotspot on our list! The indoor/outdoor bar on the 55th floor of the Palms will provide you with an amazing view of the strip and perhaps of a few celebrities.

Be the first person you know to visit the new XS (7) at The Wynn Encore. This 45,000 square foot club just opened at the end of 2008 and, with features like an outdoor pool, is sure to be nothing less than amazing! Book a VIP table if you go as the wait can be up to three hours!

3. As the Saying Goes, 'Treat Yourself As You Would Have Others Treat You'

Or something like that... either way, take your group to a spa and get pampered! Head to the Spa Bellagio (8) for the ultimate luxury experience. Take advantage of the Custom Pamper Party Packages - select any treatments from the menu for you and your friends to enjoy. We think the Deep Coconut Surrender sounds divine and that the Cooling Eye Therapy would be the ultimate refresher after a long night of club-hopping!

Channel your inner movie star at The Grand Spa & Health Club (9) at the MGM Grand. Get ready for your close up with a Sugar Rub with Fijian Butter Massage and get an air-brush perfect tan in 25 minutes with the Bronze Beauty Wrap. Your feet will thank you for the Hot Café y Horchata Pedicure which stimulates and soothes your shopping-and-dancing-weary feet with a hot coffee foot mask followed by a sweet milk soak!

something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue

Who can resist those blue satin Manolo Blahniks that Carrie wore in Sex and the City. Why buy white shoes when these can be worn over and over again. Here are some ideas on how to show off the old tradition of something blue.
